  • About the role
  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing corporate affairs support to the Executive Manager, Public and Corporate Affairs - with a primary focus on the delivery of internal communications and communications support across the organisation.

    The objective of internal communications is to create and implement channels and initiatives that provide safe, encouraging environments in which people feel free to share their ideas and successes, receive information necessary to be successful in their roles, and drive connectivity across the organisation.

    This role will :

  • Support in the development of internal speeches and written communications by the CEO and Group Executives;
  • Work closely with PP&C to support in the delivery of internal events and all staff communications including the All-staff conference and regular Town Hall meetings;
  • Support leaders and project managers to ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders;
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization;
  • Support in the development and delivery of internal communications in crisis situations AND
  • Support in other corporate affairs initiatives including the delivery of the Annual Member Meeting
  • About you
  • To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • Knowledge of the Australian retirement income policy environment and the superannuation sector in particular, with a working understanding of the structures, philosophy and ethos and industry superannuation funds;
  • Applied experience with superannuation processes, procedures, legal & compliance requirements;
  • A high level of risk and compliance awareness, especially as applied to superannuation funds' marketing and related strategies and activities;
  • Superior relationship & organisational skills;
  • Ability to work closely & proactively with key stakeholders across a range of business levels;
  • Ability to uphold integrity with confidential and sensitive market information;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of perspective and discipline;
  • Change & continuous improvement capability;
  • Be able to positively influence, lead and manage others;
  • Ability to communicate with impact in addition to producing quality communications & reports;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills ;
  • A penchant for problem solving, consensus-building & getting things done effectively and efficiently;
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance AND
  • Resourceful, resilient and dependable qualities
