Job descriptionResponsible for medium to long term mine planning, including all financial, geotechnical, geological, mining method and resourcing considerations Long term role with opportunity to further grow in the organisation Opportunity to work with an expert mining consultancy Excellent salary and benefits - depending on experience Bachelors in mining OR geotechnical engineering 10+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering Experience in mine slope stability and underground excavations with 3D finite element modelling Well-versed with the use of Vulcan, Deswik, Datamine, Rocscience, etc. Provide expert technical advice and oversight to a variety of mining clients Conduct mining studies Author and peer-review technical reports Prepare proposals and contracts Leading mining engineering consulting supporting the Australian mining industry
