About the role GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team in Traralgon, VIC on a contract basis. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. What you'll be doing Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scansAccurately capturing and interpreting ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditionsMaintaining detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirementsCollaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient careEnsuring the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipmentAdhering to all relevant health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environmentWhat we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Sonographer in a healthcare settingExcellent technical skills and proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound techniquesStrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to accurately interpret ultrasound findingsEffective communication skills to liaise with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionalsCommitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standardsFlexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and prioritiesWhat we offer At GIG Radiology, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment that enables our employees to thrive.
