Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Team Leader reporting to the Program Manager. You will lead an effective and high functioning team of caseworkers to deliver client-centred casework and therapeutic interventions to support young people on their journey of independence.
This is a permanent full-time position working at both Wyong and Hamilton locations.
You will successfully
Oversee day to day operations of service delivery including implementation of service delivery processes and toolsProvide quality service meeting the needs of clients including user entry, intake, case management, delivery planning and progress outcomesProvide specialist expertise to workers to resolve complex case management issuesAssist with the frontline implementation and review of practice model / processes and implementation of changeMonitor relevant aspects of budgets & expenditure, including client brokerageMaintain accurate up-to-date client records in accordance to TSA policies and proceduresYou will have
Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field OR demonstrated a high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study / developmentExtensive experience in youth services and / or relevant experience in a related social service environmentMinimum 2 years experience in leading and supervising staff in a social services contextA valid Employee Working with Children CheckA willingness to undergo a National Police CheckWhat we offer
