Actively partake from sourcing to contracting activities that includes new vendor sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, negotiations, vendor management and contract management
- Work with stakeholder to secure final signed off SOW, requirements and budget estimates and develop a go to market strategy for relevant goods and services to secure the best outcomes in terms of price, quality and delivery with emphasis on TCO
- Manage RFx activities, bid / quote evaluations, price negotiations and PO award.
- Responsible and accountable for procurement governance in line with Vertiv Organization Process Assets (OPA) and SOX compliance
- Conduct Vendor Performance review (quarterly or half yearly) and take part in internal procurement audits
- Managing, finalizing yearly procurement savings budget and tracking savings against project budget.
- Contribute to VOS (Vertiv Operating System) which is focused on process improvement through ideation and brainstorming.
- Oversight and approval of variations (both pricing and contractual) and ePR's.
- Act as a single point of contact for all procurement advice to stakeholders in ANZ.
- Develop and establish procurement best practices for related project and act as a custodian of the procurement discipline.
- Job Requirements
- Engineering educational background would be preferred
- Over 5 years experience in previous procurement / supply chain or related roles
- Strong experience in vendor management, procurement, estimation of pricing, contract management would be required
- Prior experience in similar industry would be an added advantage
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
