Job description

Actively partake from sourcing to contracting activities that includes new vendor sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, negotiations, vendor management and contract management

  • Work with stakeholder to secure final signed off SOW, requirements and budget estimates and develop a go to market strategy for relevant goods and services to secure the best outcomes in terms of price, quality and delivery with emphasis on TCO
  • Manage RFx activities, bid / quote evaluations, price negotiations and PO award.
  • Responsible and accountable for procurement governance in line with Vertiv Organization Process Assets (OPA) and SOX compliance
  • Conduct Vendor Performance review (quarterly or half yearly) and take part in internal procurement audits
  • Managing, finalizing yearly procurement savings budget and tracking savings against project budget.
  • Contribute to VOS (Vertiv Operating System) which is focused on process improvement through ideation and brainstorming.
  • Oversight and approval of variations (both pricing and contractual) and ePR's.
  • Act as a single point of contact for all procurement advice to stakeholders in ANZ.
  • Develop and establish procurement best practices for related project and act as a custodian of the procurement discipline.
  • Job Requirements
  • Engineering educational background would be preferred
  • Over 5 years experience in previous procurement / supply chain or related roles
  • Strong experience in vendor management, procurement, estimation of pricing, contract management would be required
  • Prior experience in similar industry would be an added advantage
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
