The Hessel Group is a well-established South Australian organisation offering a wide range of home-based support for both children and adults.

  • About the role

We are currently looking to employ a casual support worker to support our NDIS participant, with a specific focus in Meningie.

As one of our valued staff members, you will support our participant to achieve their individual goals.

  • Tasks and activities may include, but are not limited to
  • Daily activities such as assisting with daily routines, participating in an activity of particular interest, going out for coffee or various other social activities
  • Support with transport for appointments, shopping and sporting commitment pick up and drop off
  • Day to day personal tasks including personal care

    • All the above tasks play a vital role in enriching our participant's lives ensuring that they stay happy, healthy and safe whilst receiving their support.

  • Required availability for the role
  • 10am -3 pm (one day per week)
  • About you
  • Working with Children's Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR certificate
  • Safe Environments for Children and Young People -"Through Their Eyes" training
  • A full Australian driver's licence and reliable car

    • The below would be advantageous :

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or higher or be working towards
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and respect the highly confidential nature of your workplace
  • Provide a Roadworthy Certificate for your vehicle used for work, at own cost.

  • Meningie SA : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
