Role OverviewQuasi-leadership role in a medium sized team responsible for managing key technology risks across senior stakeholder group. You will be the key stakeholder for two GM's and their respective teams focused on upskilling and uplifting technology risk maturity with specific focus on Security and Infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities
- You will be developing and leading risk management strategies, evaluating potential risks and exposures, and determining how to effectively minimize those risks and develop procedures that can be implemented.
- Working closely with the business to influence a strong risk culture
- Drafting and presenting on management reports for formal governance forums
- Working closely with project and operational teams to ensure projects in technology solutions are appropriately designed to minimize risk.
- Continuous learning to deepen your understanding of the business, risk management practices and industry developments.
- Develop, mentor and coach others in your team
- Skills & Experience
- 10+ years' experience in a large and complex organisation, primarily in the financial services industry
- Extensive experience in a technology risk and regulatory setting
- Adaptive influencing and relationship building skills across senior executives and peers
- Excellent problem solving and evaluative judgement skills
- Strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment
