Join Rio Tinto as the Manager – Network Engineering Delivery, APAC, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our IT / OT network platforms across the Asia-Pacific region.

About The Role

As the Manager of Network Engineering Delivery for APAC, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering robust, secure, and scalable network solutions. You will oversee a team of 40 (including 3 direct reports), manage vendor relationships, and ensure alignment with Rio Tinto's strategic goals and network standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of network engineering services across East, West, and Asia Pacific regions.Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business objectives.Manage demand pipelines, project scoping, budgeting, and resource planning.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Ensure compliance with network and security standards.Act as an escalation point for critical incidents and support operational teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners.

Key Relationships

Internal Network Platform Teams, Global Network Services, OT Teams, Service Delivery, Governance.External Vendors (Cisco, Nokia, APC), Delivery Partners (Data3, Equinix, BT), PMO, Business Partners.

What You'll Bring

Required

Degree in IT or a relevant engineering discipline.5+ years in a senior design / leadership role in IT or telecommunications.Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication and influencing abilities.

Desirable

Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA).Experience in remote / isolated environments.Familiarity with HSE principles in tech project execution.
