Backhoe Loader Operator - FIFO to Cloncurry

NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced backhoe operator for long term mine site work, commencing ASAP.

Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months experience operating a backhoe and a loader, carrying out tasks such as digging holes, trenches & ditches, moving / loading / unloading materials and general mining and construction related activities.

In order to succeed on this job as part of a small tight knit crew, you should be a team player, a great communicator, easy going and possess an excellent commitment to safety.

Shifts will be 12hr days, roster is 2 weeks on, 1 week off. You will be staying at a remote mining camp, meals & accomm are provided while on shift.

Local Mt Isa or Cloncurry applicants are preferred but flights are available from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. Camp & meals provided while on swing. Pay rate from $47 / hr flat in line with experience.

Mandatory requirements for this work include :

• RII Conduct Backhoe / Loader Operators essential
• Min 6 months backhoe experience (this is not an entry level role)
• HR licence or above
• The ability to pass a pre employment medical and D&A screening

Pay rate is from $47 / hr flat rate.
