Management Accountant 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location : Molendinar or Brisbane

Start Date : ASAP

Are you a skilled Management Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation Kinetic Australias leading mass transit business is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team for a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

The Opportunity

As a Management Accountant you will report to the Finance Manager and play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting during a period of strategic growth. Your contributions will strengthen relationships with key stakeholders by delivering high-quality financial analysis and compliance support.

This role also offers the potential to grow into senior finance or commercial roles across our expanding operations in Australia New Zealand and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial and management reports.
  • Conduct month-end reporting including general ledger close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and internal controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare compliance reports such as BAS and FBT returns.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing relevant financial insights.

About You

Youll bring :

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and CA / CPA accreditation.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a financial or management accountant preferably in a multinational or ASX-listed organisation.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics / BC and advanced Excel.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
