Early Childhood Educator / Kindergym Coach

Our Kindergym program is conducted in a safe, structure and multisensory environment. We work on fundamental movements patterns and Gymnastics foundation skills which are essential in Early Childhood, to develop the whole child.

Classes cover a broad range of skills and techniques to engage, with such areas as : music, group time, guided discovery, gross and fine motor skills, Visual perception, postural awareness, crossing the midline of the body (essential for reading and writing), self-esteem, confidence, character building, listening, observing and following instructions. Not to mention, swinging, rotating, jumping, balancing... Learning Though Play!

• The job...

You do not need to be a gymnast, but demonstrating some basic skills will be required (eg. rolling down a hill). You will need to have a vibrant and outgoing personality, and be able to work in a team environment.

Lesson plans are provided, and everything is already set-up for you. All you need to do is come in and teach for the morning.

You will be working alongside another instructor.

Most classes are parent assisted, but the 4yo kinder group is independent with parents watching.

Work is during the school term up to four days a week (must include Friday and Saturday mornings) - ideal job for a childcare or kindergarten teacher looking to pickup some extra money.
