Job descriptionHydraulics Draftsperson Location : Mascot Company Our client, a leading infrastructure, service, and operations business, is now investing heavily in its organisation and has a large portfolio of exciting capital engineering projects. Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed drawings and schematics for hydraulic systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Microstation OR Revit. Ensure that all designs are in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Work closely with project engineers and other team members to ensure that designs are accurate and meet project specifications. Review and interpret technical documents and specifications to ensure that all requirements are included in the design. Prepare and submit design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that designs are compatible with other system components. Participate in site visits to assess existing hydraulic systems and propose design solutions. Participate in project meetings to provide technical support and feedback. Requirements Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in drafting hydraulic systems. Strong knowledge of hydraulic components, systems, and materials. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Microstation, AutoCAD and Revit. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Knowledge of relevant Australian building codes and standards. Experience in or ability to use three-dimensional modelling platforms such as Microstation (3D), Revit, Navisworks, BIM or similar and laser scanning technologies such as Point Cloud What you need to do
