  • The opportunity
  • Silverchain is seek a Graduate Program Coordinator to join the team on a fixed term part time basis, based from our Osborne Park head office location. This role works under the direction of the Learning Service Coordinator to coordinate and support the graduate nurses as they transition to professional practice.

    This role is responsible for delivering and evaluating the program and making recommendations to ensure we maintain a high quality graduate nurse program that meets the needs of stakeholders and represents industry best standards.

    • Key responsibilities
    • Responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

    • Ensure the nursing capability framework underpins the graduate program.
    • Consult effectively with stakeholders under the direction of the learning service coordinator.
    • Deliver outcomes to meet program objectives and stakeholder expectations.
    • Conduct research and evaluation activities to ensure documentation and program supporting materials are evidence based and represent best practice.
    • Engage in self-reflection and reflective practice in leadership, nursing, and education.
    • About you
    • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
    • Knowledge and understanding of learning and capability development frameworks and principles.
    • Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs.
    • Ability to innovate and drive continual improvement in learning and development.
    • Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation and problem solving.
    • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
    • Excellent Research skills to design and develop evidence-based frameworks and programs.
    • Active participation in the activities of relevant professional associations, desirable.
    • Knowledge of best care principles, desirable.
    • Cert IV in education and training or post graduate education qualifications, desirable.
