We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in our Perth Support Centre in Balcatta in a permanent fulltime position. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is critically linked to category management, operational management and issue resolution.
Accountabilities for the role include but are not limited toCustomer Service, Support & Issue ResolutionReview and resolve issues or requests raised through the Central Inbox, Issue Log system and / or any direct channels, in a complete and timely manner.Interface with sites regarding matters relating to Operations, Safety, Quality, DIFOT, Cost and Security of Supply, among others.Coordinate logistics related activities between sites, distribution points, suppliers, and other supply chain functional segments.Differentiate between urgent and important requests, prioritise issues / requests, and devise actions accordingly.Escalate issues to team and / or Logistics Manager in a timely manner when clarity and / or direction is needed in issue resolution.Data Analysis & ReportingUse data and facts to investigate and identify root causes; support the Logistics Manager in establishing sustainable short and long-term solutions.Use data and information to provide insights on logistics challenges that exist within the supply chain network.Undertake analytics and provide monthly reporting to senior stakeholders on Supplier Performance relating to Cost, Utilisation, DIFOT and Operations.Logistics Operations SupportManage the coordination and facilitation of _Container Leasing_ for sites.Validation of invoices related to Logistics and Transportation services.Support the Logistics Manager with coordination activities related to site mobilisations / demobilisations.Support the Logistics Manager on initiatives related to compliance audits, 3PL supplier performance management, KPI management and / or contract compliance.Support Logistics Manager with inputs new tenders and bids.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.Knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation methods, and logistics best practices.Min. 3-5yrs experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation function.Demonstrated experience in day-to-day Logistics operations coordination, facilitation and issue resolution across a diverse stakeholder group in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong experience in data management, analytics and reporting to a diverse stakeholder group; comfortable in interpreting insights and trends from large data sets.Able to work autonomously as well as within team dynamics.Comfortable working with enterprise systems.Additional Information
