About the Team & the Position

AEMO's Strategy, Architecture & Emerging Technologies (SA&ET) team are responsible for the following core functions :

• Maintenance of AEMO's technology strategy and its alignment with the AEMO business vision, goals, and strategic imperatives to ensure that the IS strategy is maintained / updated as part of company planning processes
• Development and evolution of the architecture plans (Business, Cyber Security, Data, Application and Technology and roadmaps) to guide the development of systems and platforms and support AEMO's strategic imperatives.

The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing all business analyst activities on a program of work portfolio that will reduce operational and cyber risks of AEMO’s core systems. This role will help bridge the gap between technology and business teams. The Lead Business Analyst will work closely with the Manager Program Solution Architecture and Manager Solution Architecture Operations and System Design to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, accurate and measurable, and supports delivery of program related initiatives. This role contributes to establishing and adapting best practices within the BA community.

Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.

Education / professional Certifications :

Tertiary level qualifications in IT, Computer Science or technology discipline
