Dental Assistant

Adore Dental is a NEW COSMETIC CLINIC located in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, opened in May 2023. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Receptionist to join our team and help us provide exceptional dental care to our patients. Our clinic is a high-end cosmetic clinic that offers a wide range of dental services to help our patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.

• Responsibilities
• Assisting the dentist during procedures, such as preparing materials and equipment, taking X-rays, and sterilising instruments
• Greeting patients and preparing them for dental examinations
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and care
• Taking and recording patient medical and dental histories
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring accurate documentation
• Providing support to the front office staff, including scheduling appointments and processing payments
• Keeping the dental office clean and organized
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Adhering to all safety and infection control procedures
• Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a dental assisting program or previous dental assisting experience would be preferred, but happy to help with learning if you don't have any experience.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to take and develop dental X-rays, again, preferred but not a requirement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Familiarity with dental software and computer skills
• Current CPR certification and X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
