The Position

A group of established medical practices in Northern Queensland is offering an excellent opportunity for VR General Practitioners. With a guaranteed salary of $300k plus superannuation, this role allows you to focus on delivering quality patient care without the stress of focusing on billings when you first start out at the practice. They promote a focus on quality medicine first before profit.

The Clinic

Each practice offers a unique experience. The suburban clinic caters to families, the coastal clinic serves retirees, and the rural practice provides a mix of family care and outreach work. The city clinic is located in a regional hub with advanced healthcare services, including neurosurgery and neonatal intensive care. Due to being located near the second largest hospital in Queensland, this area of Northern Queensland is known for its excellent schools and also it's healthy outdoor lifestyle, making it a great place to work and live.

The team across the practices is close-knit, with a strong social network and regular group activities including white water rafting and sports, perfect for doctors relocating from overseas looking to make connections. All doctors are encouraged to keep their schedule interesting, if that means doing one day on the Island clinic a week, going with the weekly flights to rural clinics to help local areas, done with the plane owned by the group or doing some telehealth from home.
