• Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced afternoon shift team where you'll support our warehouse operations ensuring our products are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers.

It could be that you are looking to utilise your current expeirence in a similar operations role, or you may have a desire to try a new career and learn / gain certification in forklift operation, dogging (operating a gantry crane) and manoeuvring trucks, (onsite only).

If you don't have experience, you'll receive training as part of our comprehensive induction program and ongoing support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including our profit share plan (bonus incentive scheme). The working hours for this afternoon shift 38-hour week role is :

• Monday to Thursday, 1 : 54pm to 10pm
• Friday, 12 : 54 pm to - 9pm
• What Will You Do?

In this hands-on and varied role where you will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also :

• meet and greet with our valued customers
• safely load and unloading of trucks and customer pickups
• Willingness to learn to operate forklifts and other machine processing equipment including learning to drive trucks (onsite only)
• pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
• be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
• ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels
