About the roleTechnical Officer role involves conducting specialised technical assessments of emerging gaming technologies to confirm compliance with Queensland's standards for fairness, integrity, and safety, while minimising gambling-related harm. By prioritising fairness, integrity, and safer gambling in the evaluation of gambling equipment and systems, this role ensures that both the State and the community benefit from gambling
