BMB Prestige brings together the right people, tools and facilities to restore prestige vehicles to OEM specifications. The team of 25 is friendly and diverse; the site is clean, well presented and spacious — covering over 6000m2.
As an approved repairer for Mercedes, Lexus and Audi, the shop maintains state-of-the-art, dealer-approved tooling and technology including specialised aluminium repair bays. The site is easy to reach from the Maroondah Highway or Blackburn Train Station.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for Centre Manager to join the team at Blackburn VIC.
We are on the lookout for the right person that can take accountability of this site and control all the activities, ensuring that all work is undertaken in a timely and correct manner, thereby ensuring quality repairs, customer care and satisfaction. Our goal is to maximise the profitability and reputation of the business at all times, whilst maintaining a safe working environment for team members.
Responsibilities
Work Health and Safety
- Ensure that the site remains safe by maintaining the WHS management system
- Immediately reporting and recording any safety incidents or near misses and actioning required
- Ensure all environment policies and procedures are followed
Customer Service and Stakeholder Management
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all clients and work providersUpon collection, ensure clients are walked through the repairsEnsure the day-to-day relationship with all work providers are upheld and protectedQuality and Vehicle Management
Ensure vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident conditionEnsure final QA Inspection is carried outResolve any quality or safety concernsEnsure comprehensive and accurate quotes are carried outEnsure upon vehicle’s arrival appropriate vehicle arrival inspection is carried outEnsure Quoting / Management System is updated to reflect completion and departureEnsure parts are ordered via parts management / ordering system and invoices, credit notes and returns are actionedParts are labelled and stored accordinglyProduction Workshop Management
Oversee the production management of the workshop to ensure production targets are achieved and that vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident conditionProactively manage the incoming / outgoing of vehicles to maximise capacity of workshopEnsure vehicles are repaired as per the Job Sheet, Repair Method and SOPEnsure appropriate usage of consumables and materials are used to avoid wastageP&L, Reporting and Administration
Ensure the site is operating profitability, prepare and / or review P&Ls, budgets, ARC, job costings, KPIs, management reports, utilising the tools providedEnsure EOM reporting is accurate and submitted on timeEnsure invoicing is carried out accurately for all clients / Work Providers and within invoicing timelines.Ensure all subcontractors engaged comply with the AMA subcontractor requirementsEnsure clients are advised of monies prior to vehicle collection and money is collectedLeadership and People Management
Proactively build and maintain positive work relationships and cultureUpdate time keeping system to reflect absencesOversee the team on site, including but not limited to :Recruitment and onboarding of new team members (with appropriate authorisation)Ensure new team members are appropriately inducted prior to commencing work Conduct annual performance appraisalsHandle employee misconduct / grievances in conjunction with People TeamEnsure team members have current required licences and qualificationsWe know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours, and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
