  • Role
  • This newly created role reporting into the Director - Customer and Marketing, is responsible for optimising revenue growth potential at Asthma Australia by approaching well matched sponsors and partners with customised offers and stewarding delivery of commercial opportunities to generate and grow revenue.

    This person will establish new relationships with corporates through new business development activity and by developing existing leads. Working in a collaborative team, you will build a portfolio of multi-year, high value brand-aligned partners.

  • Key responsibilities
  • Build corporate relationships across various industries which align with the organisation's offerings
  • Identify and develop existing leads, developing brand aligned sponsorships and partnerships by finding the right leverage opportunities
  • Manage the development of the sponsorships and partnerships program from prospecting through to contracts
  • Develop relationships with high level contacts across a range of corporate partners
  • Work with the broader organisation to develop mutually aligned value propositions
  • Implementation of the partnership framework - principal, major partner, cause related marketing opportunities, sponsorships etc
  • Use your commercial mindset to spot revenue opportunities to sustain the execution of their strategic mission
  • Develop and deliver pitches and presentations for Asthma Australia
  • Working alongside the Account Manager, deliver an excellent experience for all partners
  • Budget and reporting responsibility across your portfolio both internally and externally
  • Skills and experiences
  • Demonstrated experience in developing growth strategies, with revenue and leadership success
  • A background in driving new partnership portfolios from prospecting stage through to pitch and delivery
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to spot commercial opportunities that add value to both parties
  • A self-starter who shows initiative and can work with senior contacts to generate and drive new business with strong writing and reporting skills
  • Confident in communicating with and pitching to C suite level contacts
  • Able to work towards individual financial targets and exceed revenue goals
  • Demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong sales drive and ability to build and deliver long term sustainable partnerships
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment independently as well as part of a team
  • Curious and innovative mindset, comfortable to test and learn across partnership opportunities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A passion to utilise your skills to support the brilliant work that Asthma Australia deliver
