The Role

We're looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking educator to join our team at Malvern Campus. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing student learning and wellbeing by developing and implementing teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs and strengths of our students.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Malvern Campus, with the role starting at the beginning of Term 3 2025.

Key Responsibilities :

Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies to develop engaging learning outcomes.Experience working with lower primary years from Prep – Year 2.Apply teaching strategies based on knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.Use effective teaching strategies to integrate ICT into learning and teaching programs to make selected content relevant and meaningful.Develop, select and use informal and formal, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning.Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school priorities.Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.Skills and Qualifications :

Relevant experience as a generalist classroom teacher with sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the primary years.Experience with the IB PYP Program (advantageous).Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire children.Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.Seasoned time management and organisational skills.Hold a current VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications.Why Caulfield Grammar School
