About the RoleThe Marketing Manager is a newly created role due to the organisation's exciting growth and restructure which will report into the Director Strategy, Marketing & Communications.. This role will play a leading part in the organsiation's marketing strategy and will focus on campaigns across all audiences both across Australia, including supporting raising awareness of Australian projects with the global marketing team. This role has two direct reports, one of which is the Digital Specialist and the other is Marketing Coordinator.
The Marketing Manager will lead and deliver projects / initiatives to optimise return on investment for brand building activities and manage project resources proactively. This role will explore, develop and implement new brand initiatives, including but not limited to : events management, a global nature photo contest,, social media campaigns, corporate partnerships, tailored marketing materials, and other initiatives.
The Marketing Manager will voice the organisation's marketing objectives to meet stakeholders' needs. Working closely with various stakeholders such as conservation team, development team, local, regional and global colleagues, and vendors to manage all aspects of marketing projects. With team support, they track key performance indicators of marketing campaigns and content to inform forward strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and drive TNC Australia's Marketing strategy, working closely with the team Director and Donor and Communications ManagersDeliver Australia TNC's digital strategy by working closely with the Digital SpecialistOverall ownership of TNC Australia's website and digital channels, showcasing TNC Australia's work as defined by the organizational strategic plan, and provide an effective channel for donor / membership communicationsLiaise with the conservation team to create topical content & storytellingProduce marketing assets - Annual Report, Impact Report, Strategic PlanDeliver TNC's events program spanning across various C suite donors, government and internal stakeholdersThought leadership - working closely with the Director and the Communications Manager on positioning TNC Australia as the authority on biodiversity and nature-based climate solutionsProject manage the pipeline of content, working closely with the Digital Specialist and the Marketing CoordinatorWork closely and collaboratively with the members of the Marketing and Communications team, conservation team members, membership team members as well as colleagues from the global marketing and digital teamWork within budget to complete projectsOperate within TNC's Standard Operating Processes and communicates these processes in a clear and informative way to internal audiencesSupervises the work of agencies and consultants (e.g., videographers, photographers, copywriters, designers, social media consultants)Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in related field and minimum 7 years' related experienceor equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to consider strategic marketing needs and move to executionAbility to take a complex brief and produce engaging, optimised and relevant contentUnderstanding of the not for profit sector and how to engage hearts and minds in TNC's missionAbility to manage stakeholders and communicate priorities and requirements to internal audiencesStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stakeholders' expectationsSome perks of working at TNC include
