The role As Coordinator Freedom of Information, you will assume a fundamental role in managing the Division's FOI team and reporting to the Team Leader Freedom of Information and Information Release in relation to its effectiveness.
Your success in the role will hinge on your ability to lead in a team environment, collaborate with your peers, and contribute to the achievement of team goals, as well as your ability to interpret and apply the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) or substantial knowledge and experience in applying similar legislation.
The key to your effectiveness in the role will be contingent upon your capacity to make defensible judgements based on analysis of facts and circumstances, and ability to manage a high workload, set priorities, implement risk strategies and meet deadlines under pressure and with competing priorities.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
