Senior Electrical and Instrumentation EngineerThe Company Paragon Talent Solutions has been engaged to assist a leading Australian owned engineering consultancy and solutions provider. Due to increased client demand, our client will be increasing their electrical engineering team and are now seeking to employ a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Wollongong.

The Position As a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for :

Performing engineering and design activities and deliverablesInterpreting client specifications and developing scopes of worksManaging projects including planning and budget managementCoordinate and communicate with other disciplines including the clientAdhering to all relevant QA / QC requirementsWorking with other disciplines in a team to deliver results within allocated project budgets and timeframesEnsuring all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standardsThis position would suit an engineering professional who has a strong understanding of heavy industry environments (Water, Manufacturing, Mining etc) and has the ability to consult with clients and deliver designs to a high standard. You will also possess solid instrumentation and control systems knowledge. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of A$140K - A$160K plus superannuation.

Your Experience To be considered for this position, you will possess :

Competence with ETAP, PowerCAD or similar design softwareExperience of developing P&IDs, schematics, cable schedules etcKnowledge of heavy industry environments i.e. water, O&G, mining etcThe ability to manage stakeholders at all levelsA degree in Electrical engineering or similarExcellent verbal and written communication skills
