What You'll Be Doing Maintain and repair a variety of mobile plant equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults Perform general and emergency maintenance Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Occasionally work in-field to support breakdowns or urgent repairs Collaborate with your team to deliver high standards and meet deadlines Commit to and uphold Bis' strong Zero Harm safety culture What You'll Need Australian-recognised Trade Certificate – Cert III in Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Fitting Minimum 12 months post-trade experience on CAT or Komatsu equipment and mobile plant Mandatory Tickets : EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card Manual C-Class Driver's Licence Full Australian Work Rights Equipment You'll Work On Loaders – Komatsu WA900 / Cat 992 Water Carts – CAT 740 Graders – CAT 14H Dozers – CAT D6 / D9 Dump Trucks – CAT 777 / Komatsu 785 Skid Steers – CAT 259D Light Vehicles – Hilux, Landcruiser, Prado About the SiteKarara is located approx.
