- Role Summary
- Develops, implements and reviews Supplier Management Framework processes to facilitate consistency and alignment to company risk strategies
- Drives and delivers the implementation and ongoing monitoring of key processes and supporting documentation (including policies and standards) in the Supplier Management framework across our business areas.
- Identifies linkages to other technology / platforms utilised to perform Supplier Management activities and determine appropriate alignment strategies - specifically related to Third-Party Risk and mitigation of said risk.
- Drives value for the company through better compliance and stakeholder experience by ensuring the appropriate usage of the Supplier Management Framework processes, activities and compliance & governance metrics.
- Identifies and generates required reports and KPI's to facilitate review of : use and performance of, and compliance to the Supplier Management Framework.
- Identifies, supports, and validates changes to the Supplier Management Framework training modules / materials.
- Provides advisory support on the Framework and Policy as required.
- Drives change management activities for any required changes to the Supplier Management Framework.
- Owns training and communications material related to the framework (including website content, updates and review)
- Responsibilities
- Monitoring of the Supplier Management Framework
- Identifies and executes reporting requirements to ensure key control points in the Supplier Management processes and systems are appropriately conducted (effectively and efficiently utilised).
- Identifies trending in key metrics across the above control points to validate modifications if required to the Framework, or any changes to its scope and structure and presents the case for such changes where needed.
- Monitors cycle times within the Supplier Management Framework to ensure constraints are identified and efficiency is maintained within the Framework and any supporting technology.
- Engages proactively with stakeholders where monitoring suggests intervention is required to correct or improve utilisation, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Training and Documentation
- Develops and deploys training on Supplier Management Framework processes to internal business stakeholders, contract owners and suppliers where required.
- Ensures that all documentation relating to the Supplier Management Framework and training materials are periodically reviewed and maintained, and changes are recorded in change registers.
- Delivers / maintains the Supplier Management website to ensure self-serve capability is leveraged to stakeholders and contract owners.
- Facilitates "Train the trainer" sessions and provides periodic and updated training to contract owners.
- Applies required changes regarding the Supplier Management Framework to training modules (in person, self-serve and electronic) to ensure training aligns with amended functionality.
- Compliance Reporting
- Actively links Supplier Management Framework reporting to other technology modules to ensure holistic monitoring of system capability and controls.
- Generates specific reports on key control points within the Supplier Management Framework, generating and distributing compliance reports and tracking compliance monthly - escalated where required or in cases of critical non-compliance - these include :
- Supplier responses to control questionnaires.
- Supplier segmentation not done consistently with Framework recommendation.
- Comparison of supplier annual expenditure vs segmentation category
- Validating that supplier with high impact to stakeholder ratings have Business Continuity Plans in place
- Tracking of status and completion of performance management activities against recommended frequency as per segmentation.
- Delivers aggregated view of supplier performance scorecards - cuts by segment, category, performance period and owner.
- Status, ownership and timing of all issues raised as tasks for action in the SLP module of the Supplier Management Framework - cuts by category, performance period and owner
- Status and completion of continuous improvement activities against recommended frequency as per segmentation
