Full-time or Part-time (1) year fixed termThe Small Animal Veterinarian position operates within the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Camden (UVTHC) as a first opinion small animal veterinary hospital at the rural (Camden) campus.In this position, you will : provide first opinion small animal services including medicine, surgery and anaesthesia within Camden / Wollondilly districtsprovide 'hands-on' clinical training to final year students for 'Day One' skills - this will include independent supervision of spey clinic and first opinion consultssupport undergraduate veterinarians and nursing staff in decision making and case managementtake part in informal and formal presentations of small animal related topics at the hospitalparticipate actively in development of wide range of skills and dissemination of knowledge through attendance at journal club and hospital rounds.The School of Veterinary Science is a leading provider of veterinary and animal science education, and in scientific research.
