What The Role Is All About
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the solution design and
delivery of products and services in a collaborative team environment using
agile methods. The role requires full involvement through the entire product
lifecycle – from concept, discovery and requirements through specification, development, testing and release. We're ideally looking for someone with HubSpot product delivery experience.
You will support the team in the following ways :
Analysing business processes, workflows and user journeys using advanced techniques such as process maps, value stream maps and story boards
Identifying and communicating any requirement dependencies, issues or risks identified through the analysis process
Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Delivery Leads and Developers in the production of solution designs and specifications and ultimately, working software
Developing acceptance tests with Product Managers
Using analytical skills to support resolution of production issues
Running your teams agile ceremonies and inputting into delivery plans
Leading the business analyst guild for the Financial Services Fulfilment Tribe including helping define process, coaching and mentoring
Contributing to the REA BA Guild
Who We’re Looking For
Having experience with working in very technical and / or data focus teams would be a benefit
Strong gap analysis skills, being able to identify areas of improvement, identify issues and recommend alternative solutions
Have the ability to read technical business specifications and translate to functional requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops and to communicate effectively with Product Managers, Developers, Consultants, End Users and other stakeholders across the organization
Experience using Agile and Lean methodologies including being an Iteration Manager or Scrum master for your team
Experience in gathering and developing detailed functional requirements and conducting systems analysis for front and back end applications
Business, Commerce or Technical degree, or equivalent industry experience
Ideal skills / requirement
Keen understanding of HubSpot APIs, custom objects, configurations, settings and workflows
Experience in creation of flow and logic diagrams
