Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities : Develop electrical system designs for stackers, reclaimers, and shiploaders, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using MicroStation or AutoCAD design software.

Perform power system analysis, drive system integration, and automation design for bulk material handling machines.

Collaborate with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.

Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning phases.

Ensure designs align with Australian electrical standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.

About You : You are a detail-oriented and innovative electrical design engineer with expertise in bulk material handling and rail-mounted machinery. Your qualifications and experience include :

7–10 years of experience in electrical design, specifically for stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders, and rail-mounted machines.

Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD for electrical system design.

Strong understanding of power distribution, motor controls, automation, and PLC integration.

Experience ensuring electrical systems meet industry safety and reliability requirements.

Ability to optimize designs for efficiency and ease of maintenance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
