Salary

90,623 to $101,416 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight with hybrid work from home arrangements. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role

  • Key responsibilities of the position include;

Developing and delivering a broad range of waste related community and stakeholder engagement, education and communications activities, materials and collateralStrategic planning, research, policy development, project management, data management and reporting activitiesManaging project budgets, consultancies and service providers as required

About You

You will have tertiary degree qualifications in community development, environment, sustainability, natural resource management or demonstrated equivalent experience.

A sound working knowledge of local government waste management and resource recovery and the ability to contribute to strategic activities is required. Experience in project management, community engagement, education and communications and the ability to develop a broad range of collateral and support materials is essential.

Your ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity and innovation capabilities will be most sought after. In exchange for your skills and experience, we offer a supportive team environment and access to professional development opportunities.
