Due to increased workload, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our workshops based in Canning Vale and Welshpool.
As a Mechanical Fitter at Camco Engineering, you will be working on a diverse range of mining components, from stripping and assessing to final assembly and testing.
- WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Carrying out production requirements as shown on Job Sheets and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
- Carrying out strip and assess and inspections.
- Identifying parts for replacement repairs and completing reports.
- Preparing parts for inspection and assembly.
- Rebuilding components, assemblies and full conveyor pulley and magnetic drum rebuilds.
- Test running rebuild assemblies.

- WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Previous conveyor pulleys experience preferred.
- Trade certificate in relevant trade.
- Knowledge of workshop practices.
- Preferred 3 years post trade qualification experience.
- A strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
- High risk license to operate forklifts advantageous.
- Able to work in a team to achieve results.
