Tasks to the general running of the Cafe :
- Planning and organisation and running of functions and special events
- Hiring and training of new floor staff and reviews of ongoing staff
- Oversee the reservations and organisation of the booking system including blocking out of special event dates
- Ensure customer satisfaction on all shifts and maintain processes in your absence. Reviewand respond to feedback through social media and directly with the customer
- Resolve food and beverage complaints in line with the venues policies
- Ensure par levels of all stock and dry good is maintained and increased during the busy periods
- Must be proactive in following new trends and innovations evolving the hospitality industry to ensure the café is performing above expectations
- Oversee all catering orders and ensure requirements are met and on time for pick up & delivery
- Manage staff rosters and ensuring meal breaks are taken and café is open and closed on time
