We are seeking a solution- and customer-focused Curatorial Officer who will embrace and celebrate the ambitious and rewarding challenges of video game preservation and digital archiving in the 21st century.
The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) is the custodian of Australia’s analogue and digital national audiovisual collection, containing over four million items. Our mandate is to collect, preserve, and share the remarkable story of the Australian audiovisual experience through film, television, radio, recorded sound, online media, video games, and associated documentation and ephemera.
While our primary focus is on Australian production and related works, we also address key international influences. This position involves managing the Funded Works Deliverables program related to digital games. The NFSA is committed to developing its collection to include representations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
