Insurance Adviser

We are seeking a motivated Insurance Adviser to manage an existing portfolio from our SPRING HILL head office location. The position is Full Time 38 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 5pm. Salary will be offered based on experience within the range of $60,000 - $80,000 P / A + Super.

• Responsibilities
• Run your own book consisting of commercial & SME - mid tier
• Ensuring renewals are processed on time
• Developing new business organically
• Negotiating rates and maintaining relationships with underwriters
• Assisting with complex claims where necessary
• Answering and advising clients on commercial insurance cover
• Your Skills and Experience
• Tier 1 broking qualification
• 2-3 years experience in a broker / broker support role
• Knowledge of commercial products and willingness to grow your knowledge
• Previous experience assisting or in the running of a commercial portfolio
• Client focused with a passion for exceptional service delivery.
• Ability to work and solve problems autonomously
• Process oriented, organized and structured with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication are essential to this role
