We are seeking a motivated Insurance Adviser to manage an existing portfolio from our SPRING HILL head office location. The position is Full Time 38 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 5pm. Salary will be offered based on experience within the range of $60,000 - $80,000 P / A + Super.
- Responsibilities
- Run your own book consisting of commercial & SME - mid tier
- Ensuring renewals are processed on time
- Developing new business organically
- Negotiating rates and maintaining relationships with underwriters
- Assisting with complex claims where necessary
- Answering and advising clients on commercial insurance cover
- Your Skills and Experience
- Tier 1 broking qualification
- 2-3 years experience in a broker / broker support role
- Knowledge of commercial products and willingness to grow your knowledge
- Previous experience assisting or in the running of a commercial portfolio
- Client focused with a passion for exceptional service delivery.
- Ability to work and solve problems autonomously
- Process oriented, organized and structured with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication are essential to this role
