The Risk and Resilience Manager is responsible for maintaining oversight of, providing advice, and reporting on Goodstart's risk management and business resilience activities. Work with teams across our Centre Support Office's and distributed network of Centres, to mature our resilience capability.
Business Resilience
Drive the development and implementation of an organisation-wide Business Resilience Framework
Forge Goodstart's approach to business resilience. Working with our Centre Support Office and network of Centres. Serve as the expert in disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity
Establish a program for ongoing improvement in resilience capabilities. Conduct regular assessments and provide engaging training to enhance response readiness at all levels
Risk
Offer expert support, advice, oversight, and challenge to organisational leaders in managing risks effectively
Identify and assess emerging risks in collaboration with relevant leaders, ensuring the organization is prepared to address potential challenges proactively
Assurance
Develop controls to mitigate Goodstart's enterprise risks and comply with regulatory requirements. Ensure controls are effective and fit for purpose
Establish a continuous program to review controls periodically, ensuring they are appropriately designed and operating effectively. Additionally, design and deliver ad hoc reviews based on emerging risks or control ineffectiveness, as requested by key stakeholders

Essential
Proven experience in managing risk and / or resilience in a large, multi-site, service-related organisation
5 - 7 years' experience in a risk and / or resilience role.
Proficiency in thinking strategically, tactically, and operationally, with strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively
Proven ability to think at a strategic level while paying close attention to detail, driving change initiatives, and influencing stakeholders effectively
Confidence and credibility to build strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels, fostering collaboration and driving change initiatives
Ability to connect disparate pieces of information, analyse data effectively, and communicate insights through clear and insightful reports tailored for senior leaders and Board committees.
Highly Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in law, business, commerce, accounting, management, or relevant field
