- National Licensing Coordinator
- to enable Compass Group to continue to comply with its liquor licensing obligation on a national basis with support of existing liquor licensing administrators in both Western Australia and Queensland.
Reporting to the National Manager Assurance and Reporting this role works collaboratively with the Operational Leaders across all business units. Whilst liquor licensing will be the immediate priority; once the management of liquor licensing is embedded the role will also be required to support the management of food business registrations and licensing in jurisdictions where appropriate.
- Maintenance of the national register of liquor licences
- Act as a first point of contact for the operations teams on liquor licensing matters
- Review compliance with site liquor licence conditions and management plans
- Support the mobilisation team to comply with the liquor licensing requirements for new sites
- Monitor and track liquor licensing training, verification activities including audit results and report non-compliances
- Monitor changes in the liquor licensing regulations through subscription services
- Maintenance of the company liquor licensing training and guidance material
- Support the management of food business registrations and licensing in jurisdictions
- Communication of updates on changes to state-based liquor licensing requirements
- Support the mobilisation team to comply with the liquor licensing requirements for new sites.
- Assist the business with food business registration and licensing, and other operating licences such as security, building, trade, poisons, accommodation, and waste licences
- Co-ordinates and tracks to completion all food / product recalls on an adhoc basis.
- THE PERSON
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Licensing experience essential
- Approved Managers
- Understanding of Liquor Licensing laws and regulations across multiple states
- Autonomous self-starter
- Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring liquor licensing programs in a multi-service environment
- Detailed knowledge of applicable legislation
- Experience in managing inter-relationships across the company and stakeholders including clients and other relevant industry associations and bodies.
