Consultant - Emergency Department Perth City Wa

7 Fixed Term – Full Time positions available.

Role Consultants in Emergency Medicine who are successful in this role will work at the WA Virtual Emergency Department (WAVED), located at the St John Ambulance WA Operations Centre in Belmont. Services will include :

Providing comprehensive clinical services in Emergency Medicine to patients of WAVED.Promoting quality health outcomes in emergency medicine.Offering clinical expertise and leadership for WAVED services to both internal and external stakeholders.The WA Virtual Emergency Department (WAVED) offers patients the option of virtual consultations from the safety and comfort of their homes when appropriate, reducing the need for physical visits to the emergency department (ED). This initiative, a partnership between the Department of Health, Health Service Providers, and St John WA, aims to provide clinically appropriate alternative care options, alleviating hospital pressures and ensuring beds are available for those most in need.
