About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistic Support Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in managing our shipping container operations, ensuring a timely and efficient movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities :
- Obtain and manage quotations from shipping lines and airlines.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and shipping lines for smooth operations.
- Track and report on shipment status regularly and notify stakeholders of any delays in shipments.
- Update and maintain shipment schedules and statuses.
- Arrange payment for local charges with shipping lines.
- Oversee and coordinate metro deliveries and keep project tracking reports current and accurate.
- Ad hoc duties such as generating and distributing weekly reports to accounting, warehouse, and other relevant departments.
Must-Have Attributes :
Minimum of 1+ year experience in logistics or related field.Strong customer service skills.Basic understanding of import sea and air processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Exceptional record-keeping abilities.Benefits :
