The Early Learning Centre offers 50 long-day childcare placements for children 0-6 years. The service has a 3-year accreditation and is supported by qualified and non-qualified staff. This service operates five days per week. Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 6.00pm
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Educator to work within the ELC staff team to provide a high quality, early learning service for the local community, ensuring a safe environment exists for all children to learn & grown in.
In this role you will need to adhere to the Education and Care Services National Regulations under the Education and Care Services National Law, child protection regulations as well as the policies, goals and philosophy of TSA Balga ELC
To uphold the 'National Quality Framework' and 'National Quality Standards' as per the 'TSA Balga ELC Philosophy, goals, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include :
Maintain at all times supervision of children, ensuring ratios are correctEffectively promote and operate to ACECQA national quality standards within the ELCEffectively promote and encourage high standards of safety across all aspects of the ELC operationsTo be an active, engaged participant in creating, sustaining and promoting a positive work place team cultureProvision of educational learning for all children that is based on the Early Years Learning FrameworkCompletion of ELC documentation of children's planning, learning & evaluationAttend appropriate professional development training and contribute to staff meetings and staff teamReporting to the Director of Early Learning Centre & Children's Health Service this position is located in Balga.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Child Services Award Level 3.
