  • At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions and objectives for the betterment of the community.
  • Cabinet and Parliamentary Services provides strategic and operational support for Cabinet and Cabinet Committee meetings and delivers high-level advice, briefing services and support to the Premier and the Director-General on all Cabinet, Community Cabinet / regional visits and parliamentary matters.

    The team also provides whole-of-government support in relation to Cabinet and parliamentary procedures and processes.

    • Your opportunity
    • As Assistant Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer you will use your excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills, and professional work ethic to support the delivery of Queensland Cabinet processes and provide direction and guidance to ensure that a high standard of Cabinet support is provided to the Premier, Cabinet, Director General and the Assistant Director General and Cabinet Secretary.
    • You will provide advice to the Cabinet Secretary, Director General and the Premier on matters relating to the Premier's Cabinet submissions and Cabinet bag. You will also work closely with key stakeholders across government to ensure departments adhere to latest guidance in managing Cabinet business.
