The Opportunity :
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and proactive Administrative Specialist with a background in Marketing & Communications to join our team within KBR’s Australia Defence & Security Solutions (ADSS) Division.
In this role, you will provide critical administrative and coordination support to the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring smooth delivery of internal and external engagement initiatives.
This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and has a keen interest or background in marketing and communications.
This role is a Full Time for 12 months and can be based in Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Responsibilities :
Provide high-level administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team.
Coordinate logistics for internal and external events, including venue bookings, catering, AV support, guest lists, and run sheets.
Support merchandise coordination, stock management and distribution.
Manage and maintain SharePoint pages and internal communications platforms.
Assist with raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and tracking budget spend.
Manage and coordinate team calendars and travel arrangements.
Support meeting logistics, minute taking and action tracking.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of activities.
Provide general administrative assistance to ensure the success of campaigns, programs and initiatives.
About You :
You’ll be a self-starter who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. You’ll also bring :
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a communications, marketing, or events environment.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite : SharePoint and Teams experience is highly desirable.
A team-oriented, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to getting things done.
