Senior Software Engineer

As a “Senior Software Engineer” you will be responsible for contributing to the development and release of new TUFLOW features, specifically with regard to enhancing and expanding the core computational engines and associated software development processes across all TUFLOW products. This newly created role, based in Brisbane, joins our innovative and award-winning team, driven by growth opportunities in key markets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage in a planned programme of upgrade and enhancement of the TUFLOW codebase to ensure the future needs of our customers are met.
• Deliver software features across all our products, as determined by the supporting Business Planning process. This includes at least algorithm interpretation, code development, testing and development of documentation.
• Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, principles, procedures and criteria to perform technical tasks and address differing variable situations. Deliver solutions where precedent may not exist.
• May contribute to technical papers and industry / conference presentations.
• Undertake other specific tasks including working closely with the wider TUFLOW team.

In addition to these duties, the post holder may be required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required, from time to time, to achieve the above role purpose.
