Gelato Cafe Attendant

As a Gelato Café attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the café runs smoothly, serving customers efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and product quality.

• Key Responsibilities
• Customer Service
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude, answer questions about the products in gelato display, and ensure a positive café experience for every guest.
• Gelato Preparation
• Serve a variety of gelato flavors, ensuring portion sizes are consistent and aesthetically presented.
• Espresso & Beverage Preparation
• Prepare espresso-based beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) and other drinks to order.
• Cash Handling
• Process customer payments accurately using the register or POS system, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Maintain Cleanliness
• Keep the café area clean and organized, including cleaning machines, counters, and seating areas, ensuring a sanitary environment.
• Stock & Inventory Management
• Monitor product stock, notify the manager of any low inventory.
• Team Collaboration
• Be happy and able to work alone or with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and assist with any other tasks as needed. This position consists of only a small team so often working unsupervised will be required.
• Knowledge of Products
• Stay updated on new gelato flavors, be aware of possible allergen ingredients, coffee brewing techniques, and other menu items to share with customers and enhance their experience.
