Maintenance Superintendent - Cast House

Job descriptionThe Opportunity Key Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance strategies for cast products equipment and machinery Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling and assigning work, setting performance goals, and providing training and development opportunities Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance activities Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through equipment upgrades and maintenance optimisations Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company policies Develop and manage maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures Develop short, medium and long term maintenance plans Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and production output About You A degree in Engineering (relevant discipline such as electrical or mechanical) or significant heavy industrial and leadership experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within heavy manufacturing industry Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software tools Formal leadership qualification such as Diploma in Frontline Management (Advantageous). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Salary $160,000 - $180,000 +Bonus
