The OpportunityKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement maintenance strategies for cast products equipment and machineryManage the maintenance team, including scheduling and assigning work, setting performance goals, and providing training and development opportunitiesCoordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through equipment upgrades and maintenance optimisationsEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company policiesDevelop and manage maintenance budgets and monitor expendituresDevelop short, medium and long term maintenance plansParticipate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and production outputAbout YouA degree in Engineering (relevant discipline such as electrical or mechanical) or significant heavy industrial and leadership experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within heavy manufacturing industryStrong leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategiesFamiliarity with relevant safety and environmental regulationsExperience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software toolsFormal leadership qualification such as Diploma in Frontline Management (Advantageous).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
