Civil Supervisor - FIFO to Cloncurry

NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced civil construction supervisor for a mining camp build at a remote site outside of Cloncurry.

Along with a minimum of 5 years civil supervision, the right person will have the following skills and qualifications :

• Experienced in GPS and survey
• Pipe laying, drainage and concrete experience
• The ability to read drawings and complete in hour day to day paperwork
• QLD mining supervisor certificate (S123)
• At a minimum have a HR licence and Excavator RII
• Have the ability to pass a mine medical, D&A and site inductions

In addition to the above, to excel in this position you should demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, which encompass exceptional time management skills and effective communication, coupled with a proactive and positive attitude.

You will be supervising a small crew doing civil works on a remote camp build over a 3-4 month project, consisting of all earthworks and drainage, followed by the concrete install of footpaths and walkways etc. Experience in a similar role is essential.

The roster will be 14 days on, 7 days off, working 12hr day shifts. You will be staying at a remote mining camp, meals & accomm are provided while on shift.

Local Cloncurry or Mt Isa applicants are preferred, but flights are available from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville.

Pay rate is from $70 / hr flat rate in line with experience, more for those with Project Management experience.
