IMMEDIATE START We are currently seeking passionate and experienced English educators to join our Secondary Schools in 2025 :

English Teacher – Boys' Secondary SchoolHead of English / English Teacher – Girls' Secondary SchoolAll roles are permanent and can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the successful candidates' availability and preferences. These opportunities are ideal for educators with a strong understanding of the English curriculum, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to student growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities (for all roles) : Deliver engaging and rigorous English instruction aligned with VCAA study designs (VCE roles) or curriculum frameworks (Years 7–10)Develop and implement differentiated teaching programs to meet the needs of diverse learnersWork collaboratively with faculty colleagues to support quality teaching and curriculum innovationMonitor, assess, and report on student learning and progressFoster a respectful, supportive, and aspirational classroom cultureAdditional Responsibilities (for Head of English) : Lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum across Years 7–12Mentor and support English faculty membersPromote professional learning and curriculum excellenceContribute to whole-school literacy strategies and academic planningAbout You : Proven success teaching English at the secondary level (including VCE for applicable roles)Strong content knowledge and understanding of current best practice in English educationEffective classroom management and a relational approach to student engagementDemonstrated capacity to collaborate with staff and contribute to faculty goalsCurrent VIT registrationA commitment to child safety and an understanding of the Child Safe StandardsWhat We Offer : A welcoming, inclusive school culture grounded in strong values and purposeA collaborative, supportive team environmentA strong commitment to staff wellbeing and professional growthUp to 15 additional school-specific public holidays annuallyThe opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing and values-driven educational communityTo enquire further about these opportunities, please contact us at
