Mental Health Clinician FIFO 1 : 1

About the Role :

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to deliver therapeutic services to young people aged 12 to 25 in one of our Midwest locations.

You will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team working in a youth mental health outreach program that provides early intervention, counselling, care coordination, and community-based mental health support. The role involves working closely with Aboriginal young people, families, and community stakeholders , and requires someone who can build trust, respond flexibly, and operate with cultural sensitivity.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to real change in the mental health outcomes of young people living in regional and remote areas.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in youth or adolescent mental health
• Skilled in engaging young people in a therapeutic setting, including those with complex needs
• Understanding of social and emotional wellbeing models and how they apply to Aboriginal communities
• Experience working in regional or remote WA and / or with Aboriginal young people
• Confident in managing risk and working autonomously within a small team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form respectful and effective relationships with community members and partner organisations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or similar
• Full registration with AHPRA, AASW, or relevant professional body
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) and current National Police Clearance
• Willingness to work in a remote location and travel locally as required
• Training in youth mental health or trauma-informed care is desirable
