Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 / 12 / 2026.Position Profile : The primary role of a Medical Scientist in Charge is to manage complex and specialised production activities in the manufacture of medicines based on genes, tissues, or cells, in accordance with TGA, FACT, OGTR, and NATA regulatory requirements.

The role involves providing technical leadership and operational oversight for the CTTWA cleanroom facility, managing production staff, overseeing training and team competency, maintaining the production schedule, and supporting process development in collaboration with the Facility Director.Area Profile : EMHS aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of over 670,000 Western Australians through a network of hospitals providing tertiary, secondary, and specialist healthcare services, including emergency and critical care, trauma, surgery, medical, mental health, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation, and maternal and neonatal services.
