Street Sweeper - Local Council

This very busy Cleansing Team works hard to keep our City's roads, paths and lane ways clean. We require a self-motivated person who takes pride in their work to join this very busy team.

• Your duties will include
• Undertaking street cleaning
• Carrying out routine cleaning and litter collection in such areas as amenities, footpaths, roads, shopping centres, pits and car parks
• Operate minor plant including high pressure hoses and blowers
• Carrying out inspections of facilities and reporting on maintenance and equipment issues.
• Rubbish removal
• Adhoc street cleansing duties : sweeping, general clean up
• Essential requirements
• White Card

• Steel toe cap boots
• essential
• High visibility shirt or vest
• essential
• Experience within open space teams an advantage
• Ability to work without supervision
• Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
